Planning and route optimization is a complex problem heavily dependent of three types of constraints: the network status, vehicle characteristics and time available for visits.
Working closely with the world of research, ICIA Technologies has developed a set of software components using the most recent techniques for constrained optimization (Foley method, local search).
Coupled with ICIA GIS, these components make maximum usage of later and advanced combinatorial algorithms and rely on all the experience accumulated by ICIA in the field of optimized geomatics encoding.
The results obtained by these components achieve productivity gains on the distances or tour times greater than 10% tour. Depending on fleets and volumes involved, the time of return on investment can be less than one year.
